At a Glance
Sisterhood Sleuths Magazine is a free monthly digital publication for teens and young adults aged 10–18, launched in May 2026 by author and life coach Cathy Warshaw.
Each issue combines mystery puzzles, hidden cipher challenges, global cultural exploration, confidence and leadership lessons, and profiles of young people doing extraordinary things worldwide.
The magazine accepts creative writing, essays, and story submissions from young readers, making it a participatory platform rather than a one-way publication.
Schools, libraries, homeschool groups, and youth organizations can access every issue at no cost — with no subscription required.
Most teen publications ask their readers to sit back and consume. Sisterhood Sleuths Magazine asks them to solve, question, and become part of the story. Launched on 20 May 2026 by award-winning author, songwriter, and certified teen empowerment life coach Cathy Warshaw, the free monthly digital magazine is the latest expansion of the Sisterhood Sleuths franchise — and one of its most ambitious. Where the books take readers to Israel, Switzerland, Paris, and the Emerald Isle, the magazine brings that same spirit of discovery directly into the everyday lives of its readers.
More Than a Magazine
The Sisterhood Sleuths Magazine is not a companion piece to the book series — it is a standalone experience built on the same core philosophy: that curiosity is not just a personality trait, it is a skill that can be taught, practised, and strengthened. Each monthly issue is built around four pillars: mystery and investigation, global cultural discovery, real-world empowerment, and participatory challenge.
Readers encounter mind-bending puzzles and cipher challenges, travel to a new country through immersive cultural storytelling, follow hidden clues connected to a larger evolving mission across issues, and read confidence and leadership lessons grounded in practical, real-world situations. Interactive challenges close each issue — structured missions that invite readers to test their thinking, apply what they have discovered, and engage with the wider Sisterhood Sleuths community. As the magazine puts it: you are not watching the mystery. You are inside it.
Inspiring Stories, Real Young Heroes
Beyond the puzzles and challenges, each issue of Sisterhood Sleuths Magazine spotlights teenagers doing extraordinary things around the world — young people demonstrating courage, creativity, leadership, kindness, innovation, and resilience in their own communities. These profiles are a deliberate editorial choice: Warshaw wants readers to see themselves in the pages, not just characters from fiction.
The magazine also publishes creative writing, essays, and story submissions from young readers directly, creating a genuine two-way platform. The combined effect is a publication that does not talk down to its audience — it invites them to contribute to it, shape it, and own a piece of it. For parents and educators, the appeal is practical as well as inspirational: the magazine builds critical thinking, encourages intellectual curiosity, promotes problem-solving, and gives teens a consistent reason to read, write, and engage with the world around them.
"This isn't just another teen publication. It's an inspirational magazine for young minds who are ready to explore the world, unlock their potential, and write their own story."

Free by Design
The decision to make Sisterhood Sleuths Magazine entirely free — no subscription, no paywall, no access tiers — is a conscious and foundational one. Warshaw has structured the entire youth outreach dimension of the Sisterhood Sleuths franchise around the removal of cost barriers, ensuring that schools in under-resourced communities, public libraries, homeschool groups, and individual readers worldwide can access every issue on equal terms. The same philosophy underpins the Sisterhood Sleuths Outreach Programme, an international educational initiative that brings the book series into classrooms and after-school settings at no cost to participating institutions.
Part of a Growing Franchise
Sisterhood Sleuths Magazine sits within a rapidly expanding franchise that now includes eight YA mystery-adventure novels (available in English and Spanish), a weekly podcast, an audiobook of Book 1, original music paired with each title, and board games launching in three languages. A mobile app is also in development, designed to serve as an interactive hub for exclusive content, puzzles, and bonus storytelling. Cathy Warshaw operates the franchise through C&B Creative Partners LLC and is a member of the Alliance of Independent Authors.
The magazine is free to access and open to readers of all ages, with particular focus on the 10–18 age group. New issues are published monthly.
